Autumn at Hawk Hill || OOTD

For this week’s post, I decided to do something different and go out on a little photo shoot with my friend and fellow blogger Eric! I had so much fun walking around (the Merion side for those who are wondering) campus to the places I don’t normally see between classes. Without further ado, here is a selection of my favorite photos from today’s shoot.  The rest of the photos can be seen in the gallery below.

(warning: brace yourself for posey pictures of myself)

Eric used my Canon EOS Rebel T3 to capture these images- initially, we were worried that we were too late (sunset was at 4:50 EST) so I guess you could say we got lucky with the natural light, given the time crunch. Eric and I both took turns playing around with the aperture (the setting that controls the way light is captured/manipulated into an image). The photos on shown below on this post are the ones I captured. Needless to say, I think Eric did a great job- I still can’t believe it was his first time officially using a DSLR?! His site is full of interesting blog posts that are filled with beautiful photos- if you’re a fan of symmetry and nature, then his blog is definitely for you! If you haven’t checked it out already, he can be found at (page will direct you to “Alstography”)
